Pre-Wedding | Engagement Photography Shoots
It’s often the case that couples who come to me for their wedding photos are a little nervous about being photographed and they’re worried about posing for their wedding photos.
So what better way to know what you want out of your wedding photos, and get to know your wedding photographer than by taking part in an engagement photo shoot at a venue/location of your choice?
Why have an engagement photo shoot?
Many couples don’t know what they want out of their wedding photography, and it’s important that I, as a photographer, get to know my subjects (that’s you!) a little better before I see you on the most important day of your life.
So this is a great chance for us to spend a couple of hours getting you comfortable in front of the camera and giving me a real idea of who you are and what you want out of your wedding photographs.
It’s a relaxed “practice session” for your wedding photographs, and will ensure you’re able to face the camera with confidence on your big day.
We can talk about your plans, your likes and dislikes and get all of the details out of the way before your special day, allowing us to have those all-too-important conversations without a host of guests interrupting us to congratulate you. That way, when it comes to the wedding itself, you’ll be able to relax in the knowledge that I know exactly what you want, and can just enjoy the moment and look forward to seeing the photos once they’re ready!
How does the engagement photo shoot work?
Your engagement photo shoot will last up to 2 hours, and I’ll take a variety of relaxed photos in whatever setting you feel suits the occasion. You can choose a place with special memories for you both, such as a special restaurant or park, your soon-to-be wedding venue, or at home, and I’ll provide you with a host of photos that you can enjoy forever.
You could even choose to give a framed photo to family members, or have one at the reception venue for your guests to write their good wishes on.
