A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Matthew’s engagement session. Katie and Matthew chose a location for their engagement shoot that holds very fond memories for them both and one which they wanted including in their wedding day photos. It was an absolute joy to spend a couple of hours with them, getting to know them both as individuals and as a couple, and also meet their handsome young man who joined them on the photo shoot. They are due to be married in a few months time at the Washingbrough Hall Hotel, Lincoln.

Gunby Hall Wedding Photographer | Gunby Hall Weddings | Lincolnshire

Early last month it was off to the  fantastic Gunby Hall, Lincoln to photographed the beautiful wedding of Laura and David.

This was the first time I had photographed at Gunby Hall, described as a large doll’s house nestled in an idyllic spot at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The poet Alfred Lord Tennyson visited here regularly, and it is said to have inspired the imagery of ‘the haunt of ancient peace’ in his poem The Palace of Art.

My first wedding of 2012 and what a fantastic start to this years wedding season.

Congratulations to Sarah and Alex who were married on the 7th January 2012. The wedding and reception took place at the fantastic White Hart Hotel in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The White Hart Hotel is one of my favourite wedding venues in Lincoln with great wedding photography opportunities to be had in and around the Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.

Sarah and Alex – thank you very much again for asking me to photograph your White Hart Hotel wedding and making me feel so much a part of your day.  I have really enjoyed the day and meeting your wonderful family and friends. Wishing you both a very long and happy marriage together.

Laura and David’s Engagement Portrait Photography Shoot in Lincoln | Lincolnshire

I was absolutely delighted with Laura and David’s engagement portrait photography shoot. Great looking couple, great location but unfortunately for me rubbish weather.

Laura and David are getting married later this year at the fabulous Gunby Hall – a grade one listed building with over 8 acres of stunning formal gardens and surrounded by 1500 acres of parkland. What’s also unique about Laura and David’s wedding is that they will be the first couple to be married at Gunby Hall, a faboulous honour not only for them but for myself. Fingers crossed for some of that Lincolnshire Weather.

Another super cute baby from me today, and a wonderful afternoon spent with Kim and her family at our Lincoln photography studio.

Having worked as a baby portrait photographer in Lincoln for many years, I understand the importance of waiting for just the right second to capture an image.
