Early last month I had the pleasure of photographing Fiona and Ben’s wedding at the amazing Prestwold Hall wedding venue in Leicestershire.

As a Lincoln wedding photographer it’s always nice to venture out of the county to photograph at other fantastic venues -  Prestwold Hall is one of these wedding venues that I admire, with its stunning gardens and magnificent hall, the perfect setting for any wedding.

I started the day at Fiona’s home for the bridal preparations before heading to the church to meet up with Ben and the guys for their photo’s. After the wedding ceremony we all made our way to Prestwold Hall for the reception. Despite the not very nice weather (we had been promised sunshine) we managed to have all the wedding photographs taken outside. Later on in the evening Fiona and Ben had organised a casino for their evening guest, a great way to end a fabulous day.

Engagement Portrait Photography in Lincoln | Joanne & Adi

So much of my job as a Lincoln wedding photographer is getting to know my clients before their wedding day. How I achieve this process is by offering my clients an engagement portrait photography photo shoot at a location that is special to them or even in some cases at their wedding venue. The session is not just about taking great images, it’s about getting to know my clients so that when the wedding day arrives we are not strangers on the day and they feel comfortable with me as their wedding photographer but happy and relaxed in my company.

Baby Photography In Lincoln | The King Family

For today’s blog post I had the King family visit me in my Lincoln portrait studio for a baby portrait sitting. I spent a wonderful morning with their daughter and as you can see, she was an absolute pleasure to photograph, full of smiles.

Wedding Photographer Lincolnshire | Alex & kim Married

I had the pleasure in early June of photographing the wedding of Alex and Kim in their parents local village of Blankney in Lincolnshire.

After the service at a gorgeous church it was a short walk for their guest to the local cricket pitch for a marque reception. Alex and Kim’s had an English country fete theme running throughout with bunting, palour games and of course cream teas.

Alex and Kim thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding day, enjoy your honeymoon touring Europe by train.

Engagement Portrait Photography In Lincoln | Anna & Marcus

This is Anna and Marcus who are due to get married next month at the fabulous Stoke Rochford Hall but, before their big day a small matter of a pre-wedding portrait shoot needed to take place. So on a bright and sunny Tuesday afternoon I met up with Anna and Marcus in Lincoln’s Bailgate quarter to do just that.

Engagement photo shoots are a great way for the photographer and clients to get to know each other a little better before the wedding day and, unlike many other photographers this is a standard option on all our wedding photography packages.

Engagement Portrait Photography In Derby | Charlotte & Carl

Charlotte and Carl are getting married later this month at  Charlotte House Hotel in Lincoln. But before their big day, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with them at my Lincoln studio for their pre-wedding shoot, Charlotte and Carl are such a fun couple and a true pleasure to photograph.

Engagement Photography In Lincoln | Petwood Hotel

Earlier in the month I met up with Anna and Jon in Woodhall Spa for a super-fun engagement portrait photography shoot. Anna and Jon are getting married this year at the Petwood Hotel in Lincolnshire – a fabulous location for wedding photography and regarded as one of Lincoln’s finest hotels.

Anna and Jon are such a great couple to photograph. From the start of the shoot they were open to my ideas and seemed to really enjoy having a relaxed time together and making each other laugh. What was good about this couple is not only was the shoot fun but the love that they have for each other which allowed me to take some very romantic photos.
